Live PPV vs. day later

I am curious as to a general consensus fo what other MMA fans prefer.

Obviously in the USA (where I am from), UFC is shown live, while Pride is shown the day after the event (due to time differences of course).

My question is which of the following do you prefer?

1)Watching the actual live event at the possible and likely expense of seeing less fights.
2)Watching the fights the next day, but edited to be able to fit the entire card in the same timeslot.

Instead of ordering a UFC PPV on the night it was shown, would you like the option to watch it the next day if they edited the fights the same way Pride does?

With Pride, would you prefer to watch it live at odd hours and miss some fights?

The questions could also be reversed for those across the globe.

I personally get much more gratification from watching it live. It sucks to miss some fights, but the thrill of it actually watching it as it plays out is worth it. Hopefully Pride will offer that option in the future, but due to cost, it would be unlikely.

I'll take a live PPV any day of the week. It just has that different feel to it.

Plus, you can always catch the unaired fights on youtube after a couple days.

I don't think cost is the issue with Pride showing live ppvs. It's more that it would be at about 2-3 am.

I'll take watching a card live anyday. I tried avoiding spoilers and watching the repeats, but it just doesn't feel the same knowing that you're not seeing what the audience is seeing right then and there.

Would have to go with live as well.

Hopefully in Oct. we'll finally be able to see a live pride PPV.

I liked watching all of the fights. What pisses me off is that I cant stand not to look at the spoiler stuff on MMA Weekly, and Sherdog. I told myself I wouldnt, but when I saw the "Results of Pride Open weight" on there I was weak and had to know.
