Shogun has a Babalu-like style, just (I would say) better on the feet. Shogun's real ability lies in his well-roundedness and ability to work grounded opponents with stomps, gnp, and subs.

Discuss suckas.
Liddell would destroy him.

I don't understand how so many people can come on here and say that one would dominate the other. It's a coin flip when they're this good and you'll never know until it happens. I think people are just trying to post more often so they won't be called newbs and the result is what we have here. Shogun would dominate. Chuck would get KTFO. Wow, thanks for pointing that out guys. I'm glad you brought that interesting info to the table. It's insane and it's making a good forum turn sour.

My honest opinion is that Chuck would win on the fact that the fight would remain standing and Liddell has the better chin and a lot more power.

Sorry if I'm ranting but I'm piss drunk.

Shogun would destroy Liddell he is too big, strong and well rounded for anyone in the LHW division, Chuck would have a better chance against Silva

rampage & chuck are about the same size

here is shogun standing next to rampage, so shogun, rampage & chuck are all about the same size:

now here is shogun standing next to rogerio, he is considerably bigger:

Shogun can do everything Chuck can and probablt do it better. He's 12 years yuonger and has a ground game. Ring or cage, Shogun is the only winner here.

Shogun is probably the most well rounded striker in the world right now so solid isnt a good word to describe it. Shogun does not at all have a Babalu-like style, he realies on his great striking to win fights, along with his bjj blackbelt to defend on the ground. after he rocks people he's fighting, he stomps on them. get a fucking clue.

The sky is the limit for Shogun, he's so talented and so young, I think he could take Chuck now, he's a smart fighter, I think he could push the fight and get Chuck a bit puffed, then he'd start laying into him and well, I always enjoy that sight, he's poetry in motion, ask Quinton. UFC rules I'd give it to Shogun, PRIDE rules I wouldn't be giving anything to Shogun he'd be taking it by kneeing and kicking the crap out of a downed Liddell. He'd only need to drop Chuck to one knee before the coup de grace.

Liddell is a top notch fighter no denying that, but I believe he is overestimated by many people on this site. At this point in time.

So yeah, Shogun by murder.

What the hell is Dana paying Chuck to keep him in UFC? He would be right at home with PRIDE, better competition.

If Shogun had more power in his punches, he would dominate.

But it's a coin toss right now.
