All Chuck needs is to be a good counter puncher. Shogun will come at him.
All I know is I hope Shogun has real good cardio, cause Chuck has a pretty good chin that he is gonna need to wear out.

In all seriousness, though, Shogun and Rogerio are probably the two best 205ers in mma right now. Chuck wouldn't stand much of a chance against Shogun. Shogun via ktfo in R1.

Lil Nog put him on his ass a couple times in theri fight, Chuck could do the same. It could be a war, but I think Shogun would have to land more hits to take out Chuck than Chuck would to take out Shogun. Hard to call, especially since Shogun is still pretty young. Right now, I say Chuck takes it. The shogun in a few years is a different story if he lives up to his potential.

I think Shogun would get the better of the standup exchanges with his superior technical ability, however the question would be can he sustain the pressure long enough to wear Chuck down and can he avoid getting hit with a big right while he's doing that?

i think it is a bad matchup for chuck. shogun is a tall(er) striker with solid ground game. i think shoguns complete stand up game would finish chuck. shogun has solid kicks and excellent knees. i think this would be the key to his victory. starting off patient and blasting chuck with low kicks for a round or two then going in for the kill. however, as we have seen chuck can catch you with one punch.

as long as he does not chase chuck around the ring/cage with his head down and fights a smart fight i think he has the tools to k.o. chuck. shogun is a worse matchup than wand.
