no one has talked about chucks wrestling and take down defense, surprisingly... anyways i got chuck in this one. Liddell can fight a smarter fight and take his time backing up and doing damage to shogun. Although shogun has always done great against taller fighters. But shogun doesn't have his foot stomps to help him pass the guard if he does get chuck down... very interesting fight

it would be a nice fight to see and I would love to see chuck on the ground, what with his wrestling background and i heard he was a purple belt in bjj but that was like a year ago

Thats what im talking about. He didnt just get dropped. He got dazed to hell by 1 punch which led to the KO. That 1 punch is what really started the end of the fight even though Overeem was winning and is a better striker.

I think, as with all the fights he loses, it was Overeem gassing that initially started to lose him the fight.

Just imagine how good he'd be with decent cardio.

Anyway, Shogun by TKO, round 1.
