Shogun vs Chuck would be an amazing fight that could go either way.
If Shogun gets the clinch it could be bad news for Chuck, if Chuck can keep his distance and counter it's lights out for Shogun.

History shows that Chuck "can" gas, and has taken knees in a clinch, which certainly in Silva's or Shogun's repartoire, is a convincing arguement in Pride's favour
While I still have not "seen" Chucks "gasing" issue convincingly corrected
The issue of being clinched has been resolved. That being if Randy couldn't do it in 2 or 3
don't think the Pride guys will.
That being said, the visciousness and complete striking of the Pride guys, doesn't "scare" me in placing my money on a guy
who
can't be taken down
take lots of shots
and ends fights with litterally 1 punch.
He keeps on "droppn" everyone put in front of him
We will get an answer within 1 year for sure.
Chuck will meet Wandy
and you might even see a Babalu/Shogun rematch also

Props, first of all, to Liddell for his record...well earned and I want to be cautious about discrediting it in any way...
Really, the only top tier striker that Chuck has fought is The Demolition Man (AO)..and he was losing the fight until AO gassed/got sloppy. The remaining top tier fighters on his record are either submission/wrestling fighters.
To my point, it would be interesting to see how Chuck does against top level strikers, like Shogun.

o so because he lost to babalu that makes babalu the most well rounded fighter
could babalu beat him again sure he can but i wouldnt bet on him, shogun was a 22 year old kid whose body hadnt even filled out yet who was fighting in his second fight of the night & 5th fight of his career, while babalu already had a ton of experience fighting guys like hendo, chuck, ranleman, maurice smith & fedor
noway babalu is the most well rounded fighter, he isnt even close....

i think shogun is lots better than chuck, but chuck is a GREAT fighter, as even shogun said...and he has every chance in the world to win
