Liddell vs. Shogun

This'll be wastelanded, but I want to hear some responses before it gets lost there. In his last interview, shogun said he would like to fight Liddell. I contend that it would be a bad matchup for Shogun. While he has solid striking, it wouldn't be good enough for Liddell and Liddell wouldn't go to the ground likely. Shogun has a Babalu-like style, just (I would say) better on the feet. Shogun's real ability lies in his well-roundedness and ability to work grounded opponents with stomps, gnp, and subs.

Discuss suckas.

I don't even like Liddell and this Shogun rocks, I just think it's a bad match.

Shogun stand up is not in his hands but more his knees, but I dont beleive he could clinch with Chuck, making them usesless. It would turn to a boxing match and Chuck would win by ko. IMO.

babalu's background is wrestling, while shogun can grapple his background is striking

sure chuck could beat him but i see shogun's pace pushing chuck to the limit....
