i've planned my trip to LV for this weekend more than a year ago, and I'm quite fortunate that a UFC event is gonna take place.

for those that have gone, please share your tips on how my time before and after the weigh-ins can be used effectively. what time should i get there? is it free? where are the fighters (ones who aren't fighting) hanging out?

bring a camera cause there will be a lot of fighters and a lot of people that you recognize...don't be afraid to approach them cause they love it...

ok i have been to the weigh ins in montreal and decided to sit higher up in the middle instead front row on the sides


SIT ON THE SIDES!!!

fighters hwo are not weighing in are going to be there signing autographs and if you are on the side in the front row you can EASILY get pictures and autographs

so get as close as you can no matter where you are for autographs!!!

youll find the vast majority of sherdoggers dont even go to events

I've been to 4 UFC's in the past year and I went to 86.. get there as early as possible i think the ufc fight club gets first dibs on seating but you can still get good pics and stuff if you try and stay in the center section(ive never been to a fight night so the small venue is bound to make everything that much more intimate) the cool thing about it is that usually in the lobby random local fighters that arent on the card will just be wandering around and the guys are always extremely friendly(not sure how many big names will be in vegas considering i know for a fact of a few guys that will be in anaheim to see affliction as will i) but yeah bring a camera if you want autographs bring SOMETHING to sign but they may have a concesion stand set up in the lobby like they do at the pay per view weigh ins get there early...youre going to have a lot of fun

I agree....Sit on the side by where the fighter are comming out of. There will be some of the fighters that are fighting and just some other fighters over there hanging out. Most of them come up and take pics and sign autographs.

the best sit on the sides for me was for UFC in anaheim last year

they never put up the caution tape and they didnt block off a sectino in between us and the fighters...got to meet juanito big john the tapout guys mayhem rampage stich wanderlei machida...it was great but the last couple shows theyve had that section blocked off and the section before it blocked off as well
