is this fight happening or is it rumored? if it does happen i HATE to say it but i see Koscheck winning. Koschecks's stand up has improved greatly and seems to have heavyier hands than Diaz and obviously is a better wrestler but who knows Diaz might land a punch like he did with lawler or he might get a submission like he did with Neer. i hope he wins if this fight is on to shut up egotystical and self-centered Koscheck.

As long as Diaz is convinced hes a powerful striker, hes gonna have a hard time streaking wins together. I havent seen anything to show that his KO over Lawler was anything but a lucky punch. He needs to remember where his bread and butter is, the ground.

It's going to be sad if Nick Diaz takes this fight. Diaz just can't beat wrestlers, he's even admitted that fact in recent interviews with Sherdog. He simply cannot stop a takedown to save his life and while his ground game is very good, these cats he's fighting in the top tier of the 170 pound division just aren't going to get subbed while on top.

And the rumor is that he is going to fight the best wrestler in the entire UFC? Is he asking to get dominated or what?

I understand the whole thing about true fighters who will fight anyone, but Koscheck just seems like the absolute worst possible matchup for Nick Diaz outside of the champ and the #1 contender.

Did you watch Diaz/Sherk? Nick had improved his wrestling by light years just between Diego and Sherk. Even Sherk said he was amazed. Sherk: "I thought I would be able to take him down at will, but he really surprised me."

I agree that wrestlers have given Nick big problems, but at 23 he really has shown the ability to improve very quickly. His cardio is among the best, and I think the future is bright for this young, fast-learning guy. I am a huge fan of Diaz, and I glad he is back. Nick also looks more agressive now, to the top, Nick!
