Cheick Kongo is an experienced Muay Thai fighter with a Greco Roman wrestling background and MMA wins over Mirko Filipovic, Assuerio Silva, Christian Wellisch, and Dave Dalgliesh. Eddie Sanchez is a BJJ purple belt with quality MMA wins over Soa Palelei, Colin Robinson, Mario Neto, Wade Shipp, and Anthony Ruiz. What has Kimbo done to even be mentioned in the same sentence as those guys? Smacking around two washed up old men (Mercer, Tank), a total can (Cantrell), and a bunch of hobos in a boatyard doesn't even come close to comparing to the accomplishments of guys like Kongo, Sanchez and Palelei.

Kimbo might stand a chance against a sloppy brawler like Palelei, but Kongo would straight up tool him standing and Sanchez could hold his own on the feet and would smash him on the mat.

that makes him a top 10 UFC heavy weight, that makes him legit, a lot more legit then people are making him out to be.

why can't you guys be as racially aware as me and just accept that kimbo is a human being and a guy that is at least a better fighter then eddie sanches

he would be a top 10 in any organization..

I mean he's like a top 5 heavy weight in the elite XC...so I don't see why anyone would consider him not good enough for the UFC

First of all Saleli are not with UFC. He had one fight.
What makes Kimbo better than Kongo or even Eddie Sanches? Who have Kimbo beat to even use MMath on the subject?

I was genuinely interested in what you had to say up until this point. I harbor no racist feelings towards anyone. Your assumption that my thoughts of Kimbo are based entirely on the fact that he is not white is ignorant and disgusting.

When Kimbo fights top quality opponents then I will look at him in the light of one of the better fighters in a weak (universally so) HW division. Until then he is just a name from the internet.

he would definitely lose to Nog, Arlovski, Werdum, Vera, Herring, Kongo, Velasquez, Mir, Lesnar, and Gonzaga. As much as Kimbo sucks, he would be a top 15 heavyweight in the UFC, because the UFC HW division sucks that bad

It has nothing to do with race. Cheick Kongo is as black as they come and I fully accept that he is better than Eddie Sanchez. But Kimbo is no Cheick Kongo.

Eddie Sanchez gets a bad rap because of one lousy fight against a top five HW who looked like an unstoppable wrecking machine at the time of their fight. Check out the rest of his carer and you will see he has beaten a bunch of very good fighters.

Eddie would wreck Kimbo.

Yes, this is the obvious answer. It would take me forever to even think of 10 heavyweight fighters in the UFC, and I'd have to guess that Kimbo could beat somebody on that list.
