Kids training, any ideas?

I'm a big MMA fan, trained in BJJ for 1 year, grew up boxing and love most sports. I have a 1 year old son and I'm wondering what discipline everyone recommends when my son turns 5. I like the idea of BJJ, Judo, or Karate. I dont want him to ever fight MMA style, just focus on a discipline to help his life. Anyone have kids that train or have ideas?

Let him train in what he wants to otherwise he will get bored with it and move on to something else anyway. I would recomend judo but ultimately it should be your sons choice.

Get him involved in a youth wrestling league. That way, it is a discipline that can be used as a way to give him confidence and a way to make friends during his middle and high school, possibly even college life.

I wish my parents had gotten me started wrestling earlier. I didn't start until 7th grade.

Wrestling pwns too.

I'm sure at 5 the kid is going to do research on the internet, confer with his mates, have trouble sleeping at night, and will choose.... the art of pokemon!
