My homepage is yahoo, and was i surprised to see lebens face on the front page. It talked about his arrest and having to be replaced. Now i know alot of people throw around terms like "hurting the sport" alot, but think about it. Lebens red haired face is on the front page whit a title "Jailed UFC fighter replaced

Every sport has athletes that get in trouble, Pacman Jones was involved in a shooting and people did not stop watching football.

This is exactly what I warned people about. It's just like I said. The UFC needed to send a message that they won't tolerate these thugs in their organization. Now, I fear it may be too late. The damage is done.

the differnece is, football is a sport known to every american, everyone knows someone who plays or played football (not professionally, just for fun) they know playing football doesn't mean your a delinquent, and they know not all football players are like pacman jones.

Chanches are if the avergae person knows someone who fights, they are probably street fighters and not mma practioners. Thus if the only fighters one knows or heard of are bad they must all be bad.

There: The UFC and NHL have something in common now. They only make headlines when something very negative happens for some odd reason.

It's obvious that if one ufc fighter breaks probation they all do. I'm sure that's how the world really thinks.
