Seems like he did... his weigh in pic shows a tight clenched fist, so I don't buy the "I can't make a fist" BS. And in the gif... you can see he opens his hand from a fist just in time to get his finger in there... RIGHT in there.

it appeared to have been unintentional, at least his opponent seems to think so. however, after having done it a few times in that fight, he should not fight again until he fixes his hand because he not being able to close his fist will surely cause the same thing again in his next fight.

I dont buy he cant close his fist either, if it was so bad he cant close his fist it would be hard to train for any fight and the nsac checks your fist before you get licensed or before the fight I shoud say

i think he said he couldn't punch with that hand, not just make a fist.

OK,... Still, I think unless he can controll his 'palm strikes' he should either be put out of action, or treat each one that gouges as just that, an eye gouge.
