Kerr's best victory

The near-return of Mark Kerr this weekend made me look back at his record. I always thought of him as someone who looked better blowing out B-level talent than in taking on top guys, but his record was really striking in this respect.

I know he has a lot of supporters, so I'm curious in hearing who the toughest guy he beat was in your opinion. The only fighters that I saw in his win column that impressed me where Fabio Gurgel and Enson Inoie, but both would be fighting in lower weight classes today.

Kerr is the most overrated fighter in all of MMA. Yes it's Enson who should have been LHW and was never a title contender.

Kerr's best win was when he defeated The Smashing Machine by DDT

When he first came on the scene and beat Gurgel.

Do you know what Gurgel's weight was? He always struck me as small--probably a fighter in the 185 class nowadays, but that's only going by memory, not anything tangible.

Probably Gurgel. Paul Varleans took the worst beating though.

his best vistory in terms of his total domination of said opponent would have probably been either varlens or stott. varlens is by no means a great fighter but he took one hell of an ass wooping from kerr. those knees to varlens head still make me cringe.

Anyone who thinks Kerr was overrated just haven't seen him fight. All of his fights he pretty much dominated, even in his losses until he gassed. He was a danger to anyone.
