GSP VS Serra Championship rounds?

I know some believe this fight wont go more than 3 but neither fighter has any championship round experience. Does anybody believe this may play a factor? Id imagine it hurts Serra more due to him fading at the end of a couple fights while GSP looks fresh at the end of his fights. But could this potentially affect GSP's psyche if hes in the 4th round against Serra? Any worthy opinions?

Hard to say. GSP looked pretty fresh after his 3 rounded with Koscheck. I think I'd need to rewatch Serra/Lytle to see how he was looking after all those foot stomps.

That fight was years ago and at a different weight class. Not sure if how relevant it'd be to today.

I dont think it will, GSP is always in great shape. The way he trains and looks he could go 45min.

I don't recall Serra being very tired after the BJ fight. If it does go into the later rounds, I doubt conditioning would be a problem for either fighter.

I do think, however, that if the fight goes into the later rounds it'll probably favour GSP because a more drawn out fight is favourable for him in this style match-up.

Ooh I forgot about that fight. Thanks for bringing that up. Does anybody know how Serra looked? I have never seen that fight before.

I agree with TBone since its in a different weight class but Im still curious as to how Serra handled rounds 3 and 4 against BJ.

I dont think Serra has the gas tank to go 5 rounds, watch the Karo fight he was fucked at the end of the fight. On another note I dont think it will go into the championship rounds
