Kang Nuthuggers...vs. Gono
I would say that Kang is one of the hottest fighters around these days. I know the Kang nuthuggers think that he is going to roll through the rest of this GP. I would like to ask for some objective analysis on how the Gono fight will go down.
My starting prediciton is that Kang will win, but he will have to work for it. Gono is on the verge of greatness. He has been finishing guys standing and on the ground as well as taking decisions. I think this is a great fight and could be up for Fight of the year.
Any ideas on this?

I think Gono takes this.. he's too sexy for Denis Kang.
An over confident, under accomplished Kang puts his future and win streak on the line, and gets caught off guard by Gono's boyish good looks, leaving him open for a brutal spin kick ko.

I've got Kang, but anyone overlooking Gono is being ridiculous. Gono has impressed me with his ability to whether a storm. He is a very decent stand up fighter. His ground game is improving. A year from now this fight would be even more interesting. However, Kang is just more well rounded at this point in his career. Kang will take this one.

lol
Gono is slick and very defensive. He's very technical. Don't ever underestimate Gono my friend. He beat Lombard and Mousasi, both young and very talented. I'll admit, Denis Kang is impressive and I didn't think he would beat Suloev. He's also very explosive, but Gono is very tough and super slick. This is going to be a good fight. I personally wanted to see Misaki vs Kang because both are explosive and love to bang, but Gono vs Filho wouldn't be such a great fight since Gono is not too big for a 183er and Filho is a monster at 183.

Nice comments so far. I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought this would be a great fight.

I wonder about Gono. He seems to do enough to win fights, but he did just lose an amateur fight by KO, so his confidence might not be there.

Over confident? Is that a fact? Considering just how much Kang has been improving and dominating fighters, I would think Kang must work pretty damn hard. And Kang's one to respect his opposing fighter.
Now on the fight, anything can happen because its a fight, but I see Kang controlling this one agaist Gono much like Shogun did, and eventually get a TKO victory.
