I still think the way you fought could have been more courageous and you should have done more to engage him. However, your explanation is very plausible and where I think anyone with a clue on here should agree with you is that you guys are paid peanuts in comparision to pretty much any other professional sport. I think the ufc treats you guys like dogs and Im hoping that some of these upstart feds like Affliction, HDNet fights or even Elite XC can get to where they have a competitive product and pay you guys right.

I talked to an undercard fighter after the last cincinatti event (not going to mention his name) and he told me he was paid 4,000. 4K to cover his travel, training, living expenses etc.

I really do hope you guys get paid what you should. Wish you all the best where-ever you are going to fight next.

Nobody forced you into a contract. If you truly felt you were not getting what you deserved you should NOT of signed it. You were paid to fight, and IMO you did not fight. I can definitely understand why Dana White was angry with your performance as well as the entire audience. If it was another american fighter that was a poster boy that would be one thing but he literally walked into boos and walked out to cheers.

Nate did everything he possibly could to engage and you did everything you possibly could to disengage. Unlike some of the fans here I hope you recover quickly get back to training and I hope to see you fight again. Every fighter has an off night and I hope you dont have to experience another fight like that.

Don't try to be smart when you are not. Signing with the UFC is about the only way to make name in the USA, which leads to sponsor contracts that are the real money.

Two questions, which probably won't be answered, but I'll ask anyways:

1. Why didn't you hit him during the last bit of the fight when he was doing the "Rock Hammer" or whatever he called it? He couldn't defend a solid haymaker doing what he was doing.

2. Why didn't you just throw in the towel, especially after the second round when you broke your foot?

Honestly there are numerous fighters out there that put it all out there, win lose or draw they are fan favorites. They are favorites because you know damn well that if its the first round or the third round your getting all they got.

What sponsor is going to sponsor a fighter who spent 15 minutes avoiding contact with his opponent? Nike? Puma?

As it stands, I have read "official" versions of you breaking your foot anywhere from the frst kick of the fight, to the second round.

And I have several friends that are pro fighters at the highest level that I know would rather go down losing a fight that was considered exciting, than winning a boring fight.

Like "us" fans or not...without us watching, you wont be paid. I am not being disrespectful, as anyone that gets in the ring has bigger balls than I, but if I buy a PPV with a price-tag that would cost the average MMA fan a few hours of work, I want to be assured that those hours I spent working to pay for it were worth it.

But then I pretty much grew into the sport in Japan where it is the performance, not the result, that is considered so important.
