i know you weren't responding to one of my posts, but y would some random sherdogger want to spar with you for $200? the fight in question was one where kalib was paid $10k plus win bonus and medical. I'd fight quarry in a second for that kind of dough. I'd get ktfo but i'd atleast swing like crazy until i was knocked unconscious, and i guarantee there's a million people out there that would do the same. there's no way you're going to further your career with a perfomance like that, and on mma's biggest website, you have to expect the critiques you're seeing in this thread. If you pay for a boxing ppv and one guy doesn't do anything you'd see the same responses on a respected forum, just as you would with any other sport.

Kalib- I understand the predicament you were in after the injury, but really, you needed to throw in the towel or fucking got for it. To literally run away for the better part of the last 2 rounds was a horrendous decision. It was the worse choice you could have made, unless you really felt a completely amateurish performance was the only way to get out of your Zuffa contract. Even then you did a lot to damage your image with this fight.

I sincerely wish you luck with rebuilding your career and fan base. Considering I've yet to see an apology to your fans about your performance, I think you really have your work cut out for you. I hope you didn't have many close friends excited enough to dropped the $400+ to watch your "fight" up close. I hope at least you apologized to them.

Who are the fighters with the biggest fanbase? Except Fedor, those people are Randy, Wandy and Saku. All of them were KOed. All of them suffered losses, they lost in a BRUTAL fashion.

Did anybody judge Wandy that he lost to Cro Cop? No, and no one ever will, cause he went in there, against a man who had more power, skill and technique... and FOUGHT.

I did not realize that so many people have never complained before in their lives. Lets see.. Kalib gets paid to do a job. By definition he is a professional. Just like anybody else that works. If I go to a restaurant and the cook ruins my steak should I not complain. The Geek Squad guy actually knows less about computers than i do and messes up my laptop I should not complain. Two days after my car is out of a shop it breaks down, do I say "well I must respect the mechanic because I am not one." No!!! He did perform his job up to the standards set by the costumer. The customer is now complaining. I worked retail in a management position, and there were may times a customer complained to me. Not every time was the fault with the company, but sometimes the complainant is correct. In this case the customer is right. It was a bad performance by a professional. The fact that we require a higher standard of performance should not be mocked. Then instead of mea culpa's or any contrition he mocks the very customer that is providing his living. As a person I hope he can recover to achieve his goals, however his initiative and desire to succeed in this sport needs a boost.

It's cool to know that you can come here and explain your side of the story! At one point i offered you some training tips so you can become undefeated, but you didn't believe me! Look at you now! Just because you're a pro, it doesn't mean a thing! I know people out there that will run through the UFC for the right money though!

By the way, i wouldn't fight in the UFC unless they pay me at least 1/4 million and up. I'm not going to risk my life for the likes of a greedy White who never been in a fight in his whole life!

i always knew that you were a cool guy, especially for posting here and being so down to earth. nevertheless, i was and still am disappointed in your performance, mostly because i expected a lot more from you, than the fact that it wasn't "entertaining". i don't really know what to say other than the fact that you basically lost me as a fan. i'm sure that you're a great guy, and i applaud you for trying your best, but i basically have no more interest in your future fights. good luck in your career, and i hope to regain my interest in you in the future

You probably didn't realize this as you were posting your stupid dribble, but telling another guy how HE should pronounce HIS name is comical.

As far as Kalib's performance goes, I've trained and I know what it's like to get hit, but as a fan, watching a guy play defense all 3 rounds is simply not interesting. Take all of the opinions on the subject out of it and look at it objectively: breaking your foot and not wanting to get knocked out may or may not be legit excuses for putting on such a show, but the fact remains that the fight was lacking in fireworks (of any kind).

The end result is dissatisfied fans and mouthy know-it-alls who are going to blab on and on about how if they were in the ring they would have gone in fists flying and gone out in a blaze of glory. Ultimately, there was a decision to be made - whether or not to continue fighting after knowing you broke a bone. I've personally broken bones many times, and that shit hurts; props to Kalib for choosing to continue fighting I guess, but you've gotta think about that stuff when you're sitting in your corner between rounds.

You have a very valid point and you have the guts to come out here and talk about it, I never wrote anything here about you this or that, but to be honest it was a hot topic with me and some of my friends irl who watch mma because it was awkward, most guys even if they are overmatch in a fight get in their and get knocked out or GnPed or submitted, I think you saw that it was a possibility and you played it safe, in a way i understand you and I think part of the reason people got so heated up was that we have seen very few of this, while in fact this does happen in boxing often. Being honest and saying that Quarry was a very strong opponent is something I admire, and I think some form of humbleness is something a lot of fighters seem to lack.

I think that what you wrote makes sense and the more i think about it the more I see your point, when we see guys like nogueira having a tough time yet always looking for a way to win no matter what we get to thinking every fighter should be like that, yet each fighters make their decisions based on what they see and can do in the heat of the battle guys like Sakuraba Nogueira forrest ect they can take a beating and keep trying to win and I think that has spoiled people,

I personally wll give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you have a strong showing in your next fight.
