Most of you guys here praising Starnes on his sorry attempt to save some face are a bunch of LOSERS. Yes, LOSERS. I've read through this whole thread up till this page so far, Starnes HAS NOT RESPONDED EVEN ONCE YET. He doesn't give a flying F about anything other than preserving his sorry ass face. You guys can all get off your knees and take his nuts out yo mouths cause he aint even reading these responses.

As for you Kalib (the proper way to spell your name is CALEB, not Kalib which is supposed to be pronounced Ka-LEEB), your performance was wack, your excuses are even more wack, and you need to just get on with your training and come back strong (no matter where you fight next), and prove the critics wrong.

But I know you wont be reading this, cause you just post something real quick and think you've taken care of the "sherdog crowd."

But yeah you other LOSERS that I referred to, you guys are so wack it's comical.

I broke multiple bones on both my feet during fights and I couldn't feel a thing until long after the fights. Hurt real bad for the next month though.

Not to knock Quarry here but when I was watching the fight all I could think to myself is (why doesnt he cut off the ring take him down and pound him out)..yeah nate tried to make it a fight but not in a SMART way ...

I want to be a Kalib Starnes fan...but I just can't...

Usually I think it would be cool for a fighter to have a sherdog account to interact with fans and give some insight into the life of a fighter...but when I go through Kalib's posts...i just see excuse after excuse and complaint after complaint.

He isn't a contender for a title, and he won't ever be as far as I am concerned...and now that he has proven he isn't concerned with putting on a show for the fans, he can go ahead and leave and act like he is all of a sudden too good for the UFC.

I read his post, twice over. That doesn't mean that us fans don't have the right to criticize his performance. As a professional fighter, the key word being professional, you engage in this career and one of the conditions is that you're under the spotlight. As such, fighters will always be under scrutiny for their performance in the ring or cage. I was a big fan of Kalib, and now i'm not, i'm voicing my opinion because after reading his statements i've noticed a lot of discrepencies. Moreover, considering he is a professional fighter, i'm going to hold him to the same bar as other professional fighters and how they have approached fights under the same conditions as he did. The main difference is that they still gave it their all on a grand stage, and that cannot be said of Kalib.

I can't see him getting a shot at another organization, he effectively tarnished the branding that given to him by the UFC. He could have fought like a warrior, and he could have maybe got fight of the night honour's. But as a result of his display, we'll never know.

As I said earlier, Good Luck in the future Kalib! You will need it.

My brother fractured his foot kick boxing, I've dislocated my jaw doing karate. We both went on. He won his match because while the top of his foot was broken his hands still worked and while he knew he couldn't put the type of pressure on his foot to swing away he did what he could and won a lopsided decision. The point is that his hands worked even if his foot didn't and he also knew that if he stalled or ran he would get DQ'd. In any other org you would and should have been DQ'd. In the street, that is a perfect defense but that isn't the point of sport fighting. If you can't fight you quit, if you have that fire you keep going. Fighting on for two more rounds while hurt and mentally out of the fight did nothing for you but damage your future and your fan base. I hope you can recover from this but I hope you understand why people were so shocked. Of course I'm sure you have heard all this crap before so I'll let you do your thing.

wow some of you guys are acting like he raped your sister.

the guy fucked up and i dont agree with everything he says but atleast he has the balls to come on this site and tell the fans. most fighters would make a statement and thats it. Fans are titled to their opinions thats what these forums are all about, but damn ease up a little.

like i said in my last post, you dont see many UFC fighters taking the time to post on these forums and speak directly to the fans. Kalib does and this isn;t the first time
