Not referring to Kalib but dude, getting knocked out doesn't hurt at all. If it's fast you just go to sleep, and you wake right back up.

What's worse is gassing and putting your hands down praying the other guy knocks you out.

You can tell us whatever you want, but only you know whether or not you put 100% in there. Whether I believe you did or not is irrelevant. You know in your heart exactly how much or how little you left on the table, and you're the one who has to deal with it.

The guy is usually so wide open and slow to snap back when he throws.
I mean how many times did he lunge with his punches.
You should have just thrown.
Guys get knocked out all the time.
It doesn't mean you're a sh*tty fighter.
Just get in there and mix it up.
I'm guessing you froze up. And that can happen.
But own up to it. You know that what you did was lame. And I'm not saying this as a basher. But just being real.

It's good that you're leaving the UFC for work elsewhere, and good that you're getting paid more, for your career. A lot of people in the fighting community, or subculture, I suppose, do not respect timidity in the ring, for any reason. You did what you did for your career, and, as a fan, I understand that, but I can't ever be a fan of Kalib Starnes. Retire. Choose another profession, this is a discipline, and you dishonored Nate Quarry, the fans, yourself, and the culture with your refusal to fight. You should not be fighting on the world stage in the quest to find the strongest man on the planet. Retire.

Does anyone else find his exaggerations annoying as FCUK!? Dude, shut the hell up, admit that you had a mental breakdown because you realized you were in the cage with a better fighter. Stop blaming "injuries" or the UFC. I can list off 50 fighters who fought like warriors and still lost. THATS RESPECTABLE and HONORABLE! Wandy lost to Chuck, but when I think of that fight, I say to myself... "Damn, that was a great fight, hats of to Wandy and Chuck".

Stop putting the blame on other people, you signed the contract, you went into that ring and you made the decision to back peddle.

Quarry was mocking you in the actual fight! He was actually making you look like an idiot, and you continued to run away, and than you become Mr. Tough Guy when the fight is over dropping F Bombs. You were in there while he was mocking you, do something about it.
