Uhm, I feel that Kalib Starnes did NOT fight his heart out. No, I am not a professional fighter, but KALIB STARNES is, his job is to fight in front of a crowd who is paying really good money to see a entertaining fight. Every event I go to I spend easily 200 bucks. That is with mediocre seats, not even including food and shit like that. I am a fan of fighters win or lose, as long as they put on a good show. That performance in Canada was really disappointing. In fact I think it nearly career ending. HE put himself in a hole and it is hard to get out when your that deep. Will I go to an even when Kalib is in the MAIN EVENT. NO, not anymore.
Kalib has people here kissin' his butt saying that all these haters never trained a day in there lives and are losers etc..... Those guys are paying your bills and making MMA big.
You think all boxing fans are trained in boxing?
All football fans played organized ball?
See where I'm going with this? These poseurs are paying the good money for MMA fights and all that comes with it.
HArdcore fans don't pay for shit, they download and make fun of people who wear Affliction shirts, yet every fighter seems to be wearing one, cause of MONEY!
As a professional fighter you have an obligation to give the fans what they want. ON a huge PPV event, Kalib looks like he's scared and running away. To the casual fan thats not good. Its bad for Kalib and really bad for MMA. I think I've said enough.
