Kalib, thanks for taking the time out to explain. it's easy to believe the bullshit around here. even i thought that you took a dive because i believed the radio bullshit, and honestly, it sync'd up with your previous posts about the ufc payscale and treatment of fighters, etc.

at first, i thought that that you were simply flustered and taken out of your game by some tough shots, but all of the bullshit circulating on these forums fooled me. i've been taken outta my game in a 6 minute wrestling match, so i'm not gonna give you shit for throwing away a fight. it looked bad, for sure, but the excuses looked worse. either way, thanks for clearing this shit up and good luck to u

first of all, it shows respect you'd come here and face the music.

second, since you're a member from 2006, guess you know what's up on sherdog and realise why all the hate you've been getting. There's a lot of punks here on sherdog and most of the time they're wrong but they may be right this time.

i think that fight only made you enemies.

i've never fought a pro fight in my life, i'll admit that and i don't know how i would react in that situation (broken foot and everything)

BUT... i know i would try. Try my best. And get KOed brutally. But I would keep my integrity and (most) of my fanbase.

i can guess how strong Nathan is. I can imagine how it must feel him almost KOing you for 3 times. But give it a try... You're a fighter, to a couple of people, even a rolemodel, don't do what you did...

I can guess how it felt to you, but it looked aweful to me (and 99,99% of other people out there). I know you fight for yourself, not for the fans, but if it wasn't for fans, you'd be brawlin with Kimbos of the world in the back of a bar for 10$...

Who are the fighters with the biggest fanbase? Except Fedor, those people are Randy, Wandy and Saku. All of them were KOed. All of them suffered losses, they lost in a BRUTAL fashion.

but they tried... and fought their heart out. (not saying you don't have heart, but if I was to judge solely on your last performance, i would say that)

Did anybody judge Wandy that he lost to Cro Cop? No, and no one ever will, cause he went in there, against a man who had more power, skill and technique... and FOUGHT.

I hope you can learn from this, i just hope you bounce back, cure all of your injuries and prove to all the haters wrong... for your sake...

As it stands, I have read "official" versions of you breaking your foot anywhere from the frst kick of the fight, to the second round.

And I have several friends that are pro fighters at the highest level that I know would rather go down losing a fight that was considered exciting, than winning a boring fight.

Like "us" fans or not...without us watching, you wont be paid. I am not being disrespectful, as anyone that gets in the ring has bigger balls than I, but if I buy a PPV with a price-tag that would cost the average MMA fan a few hours of work, I want to be assured that those hours I spent working to pay for it were worth it.

But then I pretty much grew into the sport in Japan where it is the performance, not the result, that is considered so important.

If Kalib decided to put it all out there , i think he wouldve done a lot better than he says he would have.
