I'm confused....It was originally reported that Kalib broke his foot with the first kick.

Now I see the story has changed to breaking the foot in mid 2nd round. Maybe the original report was just screwed up.

Many people say Kalib should have thrown in the towel....Even if Kalib throws in the towel everyone would have been pissed sitting through the first round and a half of a bad fight and everyone would think he was a pus. At least he toughed it out and the last round gave us some fun antics at the end. I'm actually glad Kalib didn't throw in the towel....unless he actually broke his foot with the first kick.

If you were hurt then you should've called the fight to an end. You did it on TUF 3 when you bruised your rib. No one would have thought less of you if you would have done it that way.

I respect the fact that Kalib Starnes is a fighter. I respect the fact that he came out and admitted that Nate Quarry was too much for him. I don't agree that he got terribly beat up by Quarry for three rounds, he ran away and didn't not fight. When a man is chasing you with the retard arm wave and you continue to back up and don't plant your feet and punch the guy, you are not trying to fight. Starnes just showed he is not a top level fighter in the4 185 lb class and should go to some smaller shows to improve his skills.

The retard armwave is an effective counter punching technique and one would do well to stay away from it. If you don't know that, then you're just a noob of the utmost noobness.
