And what about poor Quarry. He had a decision on his record that should have been a win via stoppage. Now he has a decision against a guy who is 2-3 in the UFC. It might not be a big deal now, but in a year or 2 it will look bad on his record to people who don't remember/care about details.

Calib- not much you can do about it now. It was an unfortunate fight for you. I think what you should have done, once you broke your foot , is an all out attack. either you win or lose in a hurry. at least if you lost, you gave an honorable effort. Instead your choice was to play it safe and lose by decision. I believe this is everyones gripe with you. Good luck and hopefully you learn from your mistakes.

There's nobody who won't remember the details of this fight... And if people actually go as far as to research the UFC records of Quarry's opponents, I seriously doubt they are going to be so superficial as to blindly hold all decision wins against a fighter, dude.

If your hypothetical moron actually goes as far as to research Starnes' 2-3 UFC record, they'll see that his 2 wins are against notable competition.
