Kalib Starnes good bet?

Bodoglife has Starnes at +235 against Quarry, anybody else think that might be a good underdog pick? I know Quarry is good but it isn't like Starnes is a pushover.

Yes, I think it is a good bet.

I really like Starnes skillset. If he can improve his stiking defense, he could be a force at 185. (Too bad he isn't younger)

Starnes quits on the stool unfortunately. Guy has skill, but for some reason he doesn't seem to believe in himself. If you want to put money on an underdog at UFC 83, go for McCarthy. For all the stuff he catches, he can hang with guys.

Dude gets hit with an elbow and he needs striking defense? Guy was pummeling both Okami and Belcher on the feet.

A pretty solid line in my opinion. You're right, Kalib isn't a slouch, but Nate is very, very good.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!! He's better in the clinch has a better ground game and can definitely compete in the stand up with Quarry. If you watch Quarry he keeps his hands wide and his chin straight out and unless he's fixed that it's bad news, Nate gets dropped in almost every fight he's been in not to mention the Franklin fight (good lawd). But personally i'm putting bets down on Starnes and Lutter

Yeah Lutter was the other one I had my betting eye on....he showed a lot before getting caught against Silva. I won't go crazy on the wages, but put a little down on both and one wins = good play.

If I was a betting man I'd do it, but I'm feeling a Nate UD or late 3rd stoppage.
