couldn't have said it better myself. GSP didn't look terrible (much like shogun didn't look terrible until he gassed). he looked "flat", which is a good word for that. he didn't one attempt a takedown and he didn't try any real combinations. he was content to dance and throw a single punch or kick occasionally.

i'm not sure what the deal was, but maybe he was concentrating too much on not getting taken down or something?

either way, he didn't look terrible but he didn't look on-point either. if a rematch occurred i'd still put pretty safe money on GSP.

It wasnt the punch that landed in the back of his head that ended that fight. The way I saw it was it knocked him off balance and Serra pushed him and as he was regaining balance he was blasted again which dropped him. He staggered around and stood back up and got blasted again. I think it was the pucnhes after that "back of the head shot" that finshed him off. And if people still complain about how he got hit in the back of the head, it is a fight shit happens deal with it.

And on a side note I dont know why but I try to be a fan of GSP but I cant. He's got skills but I just dont care for him.

Serra's stand up is no joke. Just ask Joe Rogan.

I couldn't have said it any better.

Records mean nothing in MMA. It's all about who you beat.

Vera will KO Jardine-10/8/08
