Welterweight contender Jon Fitch was released from his UFC contract on Wednesday night after a shockingly brief dispute where the fight company asked him to sign away the use of his likeness in video games, according to the American Kickboxing Academy fighter.

He resigned. UFC has issues with AKA. There are a ton of threads and links to other sites, including a new article on Sherdog. Sounds like Fitch is resolved.

Oh boy.

I'm not normally THAT guy, but c'mon man, it's all over the front page of Sherdog. And 8 of the 10 threads on the first page are in reference to this.

He was released by Dana, but then spoke with Lorenzo, and cooler heads prevailed. He's back in the UFC.
