James Thompson lost to WHO?
Did anyone else see this? This guy Rob Broughton looks grossly out of shape. Oh, I know it is not all about who is in the best shape. I know that some fighters never diet or exercise and do fine but this dude looks like he saw supersize me and used it as an instructional! This tubby crisco bellied fighter went three rounds with Paul Bunyun on steroids and won!

This is like Vin Deisel loseing to Jack Black! No, this is like Vin Deisel losing to Fat Bastard! In fact it is more than that- You have to think bigger... I know this is like James the fucking Collossus Thompson loseing to Rob Broughton.

Am I the only person who is shocked by this?

Problem is, thompson was controlling the whole fight and gassed out (according to my mate who went to Cage Rage), thats when Rob Broughton Pounced... He must have a hell of a pain threshold to take a beating from Thompson

When the tank emptied it was all over but the shouting....this guy kind of reminded me or Roulan Gardner, a fatty with endurance...

Apparently the guy took a vicious beating for 2 or 3 rounds then when Thompson gassed he finished well

I have seen the fight and James dominated Rob for the whole first round. Rob did really well to hang in there and in my mind there were moments when the referee could have stopped it.

However this was not the case, unfortunately James then gassed. Rob found him self in side control and let out a flurry of what must have been 15-20 unanswered hammerfists to James' face. It was a very late/poor stoppage and since James has huge heart he would not tap and unfortunately took unnecessary punishment. I'm sorry to report James looked battered, but he is ok.

I must admit there was audiable mocking of Rob physique as he arrived in the cage however, Rob showed tremendous heart. He took a pounding and still came back.

James has since posted on a forum, congratulating Rob for his victory and explaining that he felt very weak and tired at the beginning of the second.

I know your mocking Rob, but watch the fight and you can only admire the heart that man has...
