"It's easy to do anything in victory. It's in defeat that a man reveals himself."

Seen this quote in someone's sig and it's what I been saying for a while now
Quote:

So how do you think the following 'undefeated' fighters will react to their first true loss?

Machida
Thiago Silva
Rashad
Fedor

most likely have some others but those are the 4 that stand out to me.

Machida will probably the most likely to revamp his style if he ever loses as his style is a strictly fight to win system. With a loss no real reason to keep the fights so boring, not to the added pressure to excite the crowd or lose his position with ufc with all the backlash against him already.

Rashad will be unaffected imo

Can't really say anything about Thiago.

Fedor imo will be the most interesting to see what happens. Everyone says how humble it is. But it is ridiculously easily to remain humble when you are winning. I don't see him discrediting whomever beats him however but I wonder if would just quit.

If Fedor loses, he'll come back twice the man he used to be. That's seriously a scary thought and I would hate to be his opponent after that first loss.

It depends on how they lose IMO

Some fighters come back strong. like GSP

others seem to lose it, like Wand (hes back now)

That's the thing about Fedor though. He doesn't even consider himself as the best Heavyweight or fighter in the world. It's that drive, hunger, and passion that has gotten him this far. He never takes a fight lightly, so if he ever does lose, I can see him coming back stronger than ever.

Love how that has nothing to do with this thread.

Seriously I think Fedor would be furious and easily the next 4-5 fighters would get absolutely torn apart.

I doubt Fedor would react badly to his first real defeat, did he say something against Kohsaka after that BS stoppage?
