I always try to check these things out after events in Nevada as I usually find a few interesting things.

My observations:

I know that there is a mandatory suspension for a fighter following a KO loss. Liddell is suspended until 7/12/07 while Jardine is suspended until 7/26/07, I wonder why Jardine's is longer?

Marrero is suspended until 7/12/07 with no reason given even though his loss was by guillotine choke and not KO. I wonder why?

Apparently Karo broke his left thumb (he is left handed) in the fight. He sure didn't fight like it was broken.

Both Leben and Starnes are suspended until 6/26/07 due to cuts. No surprise here.

And the most interesting thing I found was that under "Matchmaker" is listed Dana White. I thought Joe Silva was the official UFC matchmaker? I guess that since Dana's name is there for all of the UFC and WEC events I found that it must be his official title at least in the eyes of the NSAC since he is the UFC/Zuffa President. Weird.

Jardine is going to need the extra 14 days to remember who he is. 15 haymakers and 2 upper cuts to the face will do that...

Karo out till November unless doctor cleared....the only think i figure why Jardine's in longer his KO was a little worse than Chuck's....good read thanks

Karo is only out til November if he can't get a doctor to clear him sooner.

The suspension for a KO is a min 45 days, although the NSAC can make it longer, which is what I suspect they did in Jardine's case.

Karo did complain at the end of the fight, the doc asks him if he's ok and karo sais his thumb is hurt, the doctor sais we'll look at that later but nothing else? and karo sais yes nothing else. I think they need to declare anything they feel is wrong while still at the event for health insurance reasons.
When i used to kickbox amateur i bought the fighters insurance they offered which was like 35 bucks a year, pretty cheap, but you had to tell them what was wrong the same night in the same venue, if u left the building and then found out something started to hurt then it was too late u wont be covered.
So we used to stay as long as possible jumping around and doing every move and stretch possible to make sure nothing was hurt and "hiding" .

jardine was probably suspended longer for the number of blows he took, even though the end result of those blows was the same
