With all the shit that has gone on between him and the UFC / Dana, this is far from a given.

Yeah not under his current contract. He says they'd have to give him a new contract. Probably something absurd where he demands like 50% of PPV revenue.

Yeah, Randy will go anywhere as long as he fights Fedor.

I don't see Dana redoing his contract. Call me crazy, but I just don't see that happening. I do however think Randy would cave (at first), fight Fedor, then walk away from his contract (again).

At least us fans would win in that scenerio.

Sorry TS, but your thread title is at best misleading, and at worst bullshit. No offense.

Keep reading the article you linked to:

"Couture also stated that if he did go back to the UFC that it wouldn't be under his current contract. He said a new contract would have to be worked out."

... it's still about money at the end of the day. There are further stipulations from Couture, not just 'Fedor' as he would have the fans believe. Randy is saying he doesn't want to honor the contract he signed even if they get Fedor.

This dream fight is far from a reality yet

I'm going to start ranking on Randy when he gets submitted by Fedor in the first round.
