I think the UFC has a pretty Iron Clad rule about not letting another org use their clips.

If I were the ufc and someone came out as rich as Cuban and said they were trying to sign Fedor, I wouldn't let them interview my employee's, but that's just me.

I can't wait to hear how Dana handles Cuban's arrival on the MMA scene. It should make for some great quotes

I'm going to employ the "wait and see" concept for the show being online. But I have HDNet anyway so I"ll just watch the show when it's fresh.

But I don't see the big deal about Lidell. "Inside MMA" is a magazine show about MMA, and Lidell is MMA.

I dont think this is the promotion side of Mark's mma deals. This is the sportcenter type show that will talk about all mma news. I think what Cuban is after is turning his network into the one stop MMA channel. I think he would like nothing better than to broadcast UFC on HDNet.

I think that Mark will come up with alot of good ideas that us mma fans will like.

Kajun -

You are correct. "Inside MMA" is a news/magazine show about all facets of MMA. However, I don't think HDNet will abandon its other programming.

And Cuban is open to ideas from fans. He's meeting their demand for MMA content, so of course he's open to hearing from true MMA fans.

I enjoyed the coverage. They mostly showed the smaller shows. Man Rizzo bloodied Monson pretty bad. They also showed Horn lose. They also showed an interview with Couture and showed clips of his gym. I enjoyed the stats that they showed (strikes attempted, dominat position, submission attempts and so on). The ranking system had a couple surprises. Yes, they did show Cubans interview.

I thought Comcast had that channel. The fights on HD.Net makes Spikes look bad. Spike needs to be in HD. Yeah, HD.Net does not have the big names all the time. The show focused on the Rampage vs Henderson outcome. The Art of War highlights were shown, also the sow in Austin. They gave best wishes to Chuck on his next fight. All the people made comments on the rankings. There was agreements and disagreements on the ranking system. I really hope that this show continues and focuses more on the other orgs outside of Texas. One thing I did find funny is that Guy Mezger believed that Couture should have been ranked above Fedor because Fedor has not fought for awhile.

No one gets HDNet so how big of a deal could it be. No one saw it.
