WTF do you mean 'real weightclasses?'
Being heavier has nothing to do with skill. Who cares who the heavier fighter is?
Tim Sylvia never competed in a grand prix, much less won one. All of the heavyweights Tim Sylvia beat on his road to the championship weren't half the fighters Nog and Fedor faced on their way to the title.

You should read the whole thread, asshole.
1. Pride put on some great fights. They also encouraged fighters lose, or flat out paid them to lose. They put on ridiculous mismatches on a regular basis. They included pro-wrestlers with no business being in an MMA ring on their cards. They ignored a rather blatant steroids problem in their ranks. The DSE led Pride had no interest in MMA as a sport. Since that's what I value, their product was consistently inferior.
2. I used the term "real weightclasses" as borrowed from the moron who said it originally as a rebutal.
3. Being heavier does have nothing to do with skill. That's exactly what I said, captain comprehension.
4. I put out Sylvia as ARGUABLY number 1 as analogous to claiming Diego Sanchez number one. And I did that in December, mind you.
You suck at reading. You suck at life.
