If you were Nick Diaz, wouldn`t you
take the rematch with Condit and do the exact same thing to him as far as strategy goes? I know I sure as hell would. I`d just wait for him to come to me too and outstrike/outgrapple him (Not that that`s what happened to Nick but that`s what I would do). Either it would validate any argument Diaz has by being a boring fight or it would be exciting as hell

If I was Nick Diaz I would run at Condit and pressure him early, he needs to not give Condit a chance to reset, and get the take down if the opportunity presents itself.

That wouldn't work for Diaz since he needs to be closer to land punches. Condit would only need to get to kicking range and as soon as Diaz closes the distance, Condit will back out to kicking range or circle away from cage.

Condit did better and better as the fight wore on. Even most Diaz fans admit Condit outstruck him in rounds 4 and 5. If Condit has his timing and distance down Nick has to change his gameplan.

Diaz didn't outstrike Condit.
And there was no effective grappling outside the last minute of the match.

Maybe cutting off the cage.........nah more mean face should get it sorted.
And if he didn't walk forward he could just continue getting picked apart by Condit more varied attacks.
