If Vera can't KO Tim

I base this on shots Tim has taken, including that vicious one from AA that put him on his ass, and he got back up & KO'd Arlovski for his trouble.

So, it's obviously not a foregone conclusion that Vera can't or won't KO him, but for the sake of argument let's say he can't. How does Vera win? Tim couldn't get up from Randy, but he didn't do badly from his back against the Snowman. Vera might have an easier time getting Tim's back than Randy or Snowman, because he's quicker & lankier (more agile?), but I have a hard time thinking he's gonna "control" Tim on the ground the way Randy did.

Thoughts?

vera could knock tim down and probably win by stoppage. either that or he submits him, tim will be vulnerable once vera has him hurt. the truth is a pretty big guy so he could do more damage to tim on the ground than couture could

I for one am pulling for Tim on this one. I think he's hungry for a win. He is quit strong. Randy couldn't finish him and look what Randy did to Gonzaga

In Gonzaga defense though, he did break his nose, and also took WAY MORE RISKS then tim did.

i agree with the TS that Vera probably wont KO Tim, but Vera could submit him.

Also, i think Vera is a better kickboxer than Tim..since well Tim doesnt kick

Both guys need this fight badly. Whoever loses is going to drop out of the picture.

Those fights were all 5 rounders, this one is only 3 so the pace of the fight could have a big effect.

if vera doesn't ko tim, he has a good chance of being ko'd himself..
Tim doesn't really suck, he has hand speed and power but i truly believe vera can dance in and out kinda like he did with mir..
thai clinch may-be vera's downfall..

He could knock him down but I dont think he will stop him. Tim although he has been knockdown, hasnt really been so hurt he was unable to defend himself.

I dont think Vera could do more damage than what Randu did to Tim on the ground. It's just that Tim is never really visually hurt.
