If Timmeh beats Randy, will he be hated more or respected more?

You see, I think this is where the UFC is being absoultely fucking brilliant. They see that Tim has no shot at ever being really popular, so why not embrce it and make him as hated as possible, so people will tune in hopi9ng to see him lose. This way, if/when CC beats him, CC umps up like 50 notches in casual MMA fans eyes, for beatingthe most hated champion. If CC loses, people start to wonder if somebody will ever stepup and beat the hated Sylvia By embracing Sylvia's unpopularity, he is, in reality, becoming 'over' with the fans.

if he wins decisively he will get respect, he needs to remind the fans of the sylvia of old, the one who had his arm snapped and still wanted to fight, the main problem with syvlia not getting any respect is besides aa, who lets face it they split matches and that third fight was a draw, what top ten fighter has he beat in any weight class? ricco, cabbage, mcgee, monson are not top ten fighters, if he beats randy, even if he is old is a top ten fighter at lhw, which is better then nothing, if he beats randy and cro cop, it will be hard not to give him respect, but i have a hard time seeing him get through that gantlet

It's a no win situation for big Tim. Even if he won easily, he'd be hated for him. If he loses, he'll never hear the end of it. I think the best anyone can hope for is some kind of spectacular battle Rocky 6 style.
