If RJJ Jr. could have beat Royce Gracie

Then any major boxing promoter could have sent RJJ Jr. in there to beat Royce and squash the whole MMA movement right there.

They still can if they are so sure of themselves. Send in the best boxer they have to embarrass the whole sport of MMA and make it look like a joke. Have their boxer challenge GSP or whoever is in the appropriate weight class. Is there anyone here who believes the boxing industry wouldn't love to do that if they were capable? Then where are the challenges from boxers?

Well the fact is, they know the boxers wouldn't win. All their shit talking is an attempt to save face and sell their sport.

Why doesn't GSP challenge a boxer to a boxing match, to put the final nail in the coffin?

If only boxing had a time machine... they could put a stop to this MMA menace threating their sport.

Yeah he has like 4 or 5 of them! But yeah im sure boxing would of loved to have sent RJJ to UFC 1-5 to knockout Royce which would of been very possible. Rorion Gracie the UFC cordinator matchmaker at the time would of never allowed him to compete though JUST INCASE Royce lost. There were a few guys out there who could of probably beat Royce in the USA at the time. But nonetheless Royce Gracie is the man and a hero and took a risk fighting multiple opponents with little rules, barenuckle against striking style game plans which he could really train for etc...

Dana has offered FMJ a few fights when he starts running his mouth too much about MMA, and Floyd has backed down. Mayweather even apologized the first time Dana offered him a fight (with Sherk).

Yeah like Benny the Jet.
what happened with him and the Gracies?

Didn't the gracies challenge him until they found out he had a ground game?

Delusional people trying recreate history. They begged for boxers to come. Nothing they would have loved more than to tap out a boxer. An untrained boxer when it comes to ground fighting would have lost in 30 seconds. Ask any boxer and they'll say the same thing.

There is an equal chance of Royce getting his hands on RJJ as him KO'ing Royce.

RJJ is completely untrained in BJJ, and back then wouldn't have even known what Royce was doing. It would have been a short night either way.
