Forrest would beat Wandy, easily. He's a bigger and more technical fighter.

shut your trap fukface...this isn't a pride vs ufc debate so stop turning it into one
and how would forrest beat wand easily??? really i wanna hear your logic on this

the forrest who barely won a decision against page (even though i wanted page to lose because of his nutthuggers) who blew out his knee after the first round
the forrest again beat an injured shogun and lost to an injured ortiz
how about the forrest who got ktfo against jardine who wand ko'd in the first round

i'm not saying forrest will lose but it will be a close fight
i hate fuking idiots who doesn't back wat they say...these boards could use less clowns like this

Wanderlei can deal with size. I think he can take Forrest out. I picked Forrest over Page as well, but I think Wanderlei's aggression would overwhelm Forrest, I really do.

This win for Forrest just puts the LHW division in that much of a cluster fuck

I agree. I really think this might start a couple of years where the belt is constantly in a state of flux. There are so many good lhws but they all have a few flaws. Let's not forget that Forrest was thoroughly dominated by Keith Jardine. No one is invincible and Forrest could lose the title very quickly.

First off, it's fuckface, not fukface, your mother isn't going to read your post history so don't be afraid to spell words correctly.

Secondly, if you'll read my post again, it was three sentences long, I explained how Forrest would beat Silva (hint, hint. Check out the last one)

And third, it's not a UFC vs Pride argument, I pointed out that even though Pride fighters have been proven to be on or slightly beneath the level of UFC fighters, the bias on the forum is still evident. Hopefully July 19th will put the argument to bed, permanently.

i think the ufc lhw divison will be like this until machida wins the belt...
i can honestly say i hate machida's style of elusive fighting but it doesn't seem like fighters have a counter for that

Even with Forrest's size Wanderlie could still take him. Forrest doesn't care too much about the takedowns/wrestling aspect, and even if he did he probably isn't top calibre at that game anyways, so Wandy could still beat him standing. Forrest is just OK at the standup. And he isn't particular fast too, which would allow Wandy to move in.

hahah u picking on my grammar based on fukface rather than fuckface??? hahah i guess it takes a certain level of intelligence and diligence to spell profanity correctly
i recall certain fans who was also ufc nuthuggers conveniently left out page as a pride fighter when he was champ for reason such as he improved leaps and bounds after leaving pride
or how about anderson not being a pride fighter??
wat can u say about nog and wand now??? nog is the hw champ and wand is still top 5 in the ufc lhw division after thoroughly destroying jardine
henderson is the number two middleweight and probably top 5 lightheavyweight

hahah wand simply loses because forrest is bigger and more techical than him???? if that's the case i reckon wand would lose to a lot of fighters....most of the fighters wand beat are more technical than him but he overwhelms them with aggressiveness and relentless strikes
