Sadly yes if Fedor or Randy doesn't fight a top ten opponent very soon.

4-10 same as above.

If Nog wins, I'd have the rankings like this:

1. Fedor
2. Nog
3. Barnett
4. Couture
5. Tim
6. Arlovski
7. Werdum
8. Gonzaga
9. Kongo
10. CroCop
Relatively well thought out. I'm not quite ready to drop Fedor out of #1 yet but soon. If he doesn't fight top competition by end of year then I'd stick a fork in him and take him out of the top spot.

If you are dropping Fedor out of the top spot for not fighting top ten comp, then you are dropping Randy out of his spot for inactivity.

If Tim Sylvia beats Nog AND Fedor doesn't fight anyone legit AND Randy stays "retired", then yes, Tim Sylvia should be considered the #1 HW in the world... Even though I think many in the top 10 would beat him soundly...

Randy last fought in August, that wasnt too long ago. He has 2 wins over top ten guys last year, Fedor has the same over about the last 3 years...

I would say yes him and Nog are fighting for #1 and #2 respectfully. I would drop Randy to #3 or #4 behind Fedor for passing up the Nog fight. In fact I would drop him to #4 behind Fedor, you have to give Fedor something for destroying that 10ft tall monster.

Randy should start dropping fast in the ranks at his age without a fight. At least Fedor can still fight. Randy has gone and placed himself in limbo during the last years of his career.
