if Babalu beats Chuck...
I think Chuck should still fight Wandy next. It's still the fight every true MMA fan wants to see. what is Dana thinking "if Chuck gets by Babalu..." ? does that mean we all get screwed out of seeing Chuck and Wandy fight, if Chuck loses his belt before then?
if Babalu beats Chuck, I think Wandy and Chuck should still fight. winner of Chuck vs. Wandy gets to fight Babalu. what do you guys think? it's a weird situation isn't it?

It will probably still happen, like Ortiz/Liddell after both Ortiz's and Liddell's surprisingly loss to Couture. But it will be way more meaningful if it has its 1st ever "Champ vs Champ" aura to it.
either way, ill just be happy to see it

If Babalu beats Chuck, I'd like to see Babalu-Ortiz for the title and Chuck-Wandy for #1 contender on the same card. Chuck and Wandy MUST fight after the huge announcement.

I think that Dana rushed on announcing the fight because now Babalu is going to have more fire to beat Chuck because it seems like he's being overlooked. I'm not a Chuck fan nor am I a Babalu fan but if he beats Chuck for the belt it will be pretty bittersweet. If it goes the distance there is no doubt that Chuck will get the decision just because of the Wandy fight waiting in the wings.

I agree it will be more exciting and historical as a champ vs. champ fight, but if Babalu beats Chuck, I'd still rather see Wandy vs. Chuck than Wandy vs. Babalu. |

Babalu beats Chuck we can still have a belt holder against belt holder...
Babalu/Shogun II!! This is much more compelling to me if Chuck losses...
