"The Iceman" vs "The Truth"

I know, I know, with Babalu losing all of the Chuck vs. (whoever) threads are spreading like wildfire around here. It looks like Chuck/Wandy is not going to happen, so the next in line to fight Chuck would be Tito in a world famous UFC rematch. If Vera can get past Mir does anyone think this would be a good time for him to drop down and take on the Iceman? Vera did say in his first UFC fight that he was going to be the champ at 205 someday. I think the UFC could save us from another rematch and book Lidell/Vera. Thoughts?

It sounds real good, but too much would have to happen for this to happen. If Tito beats Ken then it won't happen, but if Ken wins, they won't let ken fight chuck. then who fights chuck? Vera, if he beats Mir. It would be a sick fight, but again I think Chuck would wreck Vera. Good thread though.

I'm getting damned sick and tired of the UFC and their recycled 'rematches'. The UFC lacks serious depth in their A list or even non A list big name fighters in HW and LHW particularly so they simply recycle. It's getting to be a pain in the ass. Tito / Shamrock 3?? For christ sakes, if they've got something to settle, let them meet at a club, or in an alley somewhere and settle this beef. Don't inflict us with it. Free, or PPV regardless it's just an irrelevant and overdone fight. It's like the Rocky series of movies. 2012AD and Tito / Scamrock IX and Ken can come out with a cane and a bottle of geritol. Likewise, Tito / Liddell isn't something I'm interested in either but what else do they have? Vera, if he were willing to drop down would be better. It looks like Liddell / Silva is off now, so what's to become of Chuck as far as competition goes? It's sad really. He needs a Rampage, or a Silva, or a 'back to 205lbs Shogun. Hell, even Liddell, and Franklin at a catchweight of 195, or Chuck moving up to HW. After Tito, shit looks even more bleak in the LHW class. Who's left to recycle.

The UFC definetly needs to bring in someone at 205 to fight Chuck. He has already proved that he can beat Tito and I dont think Tito has improved (then again who could fighting Shamrock twice in the past few months). Dana needs to pay some money and bring in a contender.
