I really don't think that fight should be even a consideration especially since they are in different weight classes. Paulo Filho should be in against guys like Rich Franklin, Dan Henderson ect. not Matt Hughes.

They are in completely different weight classes.

Filho barley makes weight at 185 and Matt Hughes fights at 170.

Matt Hughes cuts a lot of weight. Plus, there is no equivalent division from Pride that matches the 170 division of UFC. Pride's LWs are too small, so I felt a MW would suffice.

Yes, however, Filho cuts just as much to make 183.
