I think Tim could win the US qualifier. The only thing is he'd get leg kicked by everyone. I'm not sure if he knows how to defend against leg kicks.

So NO, he would not do great in K-1 imho.
Actually the list doen't go on. Maybe Sylvia wouldn't be champ right away, but he would do just fine in k1, and he would do a whole lotta better than Sapp.

sylvia has no chance in hell against JLB,esspecally in k-1.in mma his only chance would be to take it to the ground and mybe beat him there but i see tim trying to stand and getting cocky with his stand up and gettting KTFO,regardless of how good ppl say his chin is.

He would participate in LasVegas qualifier where there are very technical fighters like McDonald, Scott Lighty (trains kickboxing with Liddell). He wouldnt win the US tourney, he would lose via dec. against a solid contender (imagine this years Leko) because most of these quality fighters would avoid his style and impose their strategic fightplan on Sylvia. He'll simply get frustrated...
