Just the simple fact that you losers think that Lesnars natural size advantage gains him favor in this matchup makes you horrible MMA fans.
The only reason anyone is even talking about this fight is because they think its going to be a clash of the titans. In reality Carwin is big but clearly not the superbeast that Brock is.

When a superior wrestler (Brock) has a major weight/strength advantage I would say thats a pretty big deal in an MMA fight.

Well all I hear is how big Lesnar is yet Mir submitted him with ease. Then we have old man Randy holding him against the cage like he is a LHW yet he is still unbeatable in everyones eyes.

Bullshit I call!

There hasn't been a fighter with the size and strength to match up with Lesnar. Carwin is just the person to do it.

I think Carwin would out-wrestle Lesnar.
Randy was doing pretty well for a guy who was 50 pounds lighter. Carwin is about the same size as Brock and has a wrestling pedigree.

[quote=ovechkin8tor;27363437]Nice argument.

My point stands. Carwin has fought nothing but Cans. I would also say that Lesnar has better knees than Carwin. In "reality", Carwin is at a disadvantage in terms of size, reach, wrestling and power.

edit: and speed![/QUOTE

Agreed! Carwin has't fought the caliber of fighter that Lesner has (at least on paper). The thing I like about lesner is that if you watch his fights back to back you can see that he has noticably improved with each fight. By the time he faces Carwin down the road, he will have improved greatly. Also, according to his UFC profile, Carwin is still working full time where as Lesner is training full time. In a year from now, I think Lesner will be way ahead.

And you using 4 and 6 font lettering makes you a blithering idiot if you think it makes your rude comments come across any more clear. Height and weight does not determine the best fighter, but it might be a factor in the fight. And if Butterbean can move like Lesnar, I welcome him to try his hand in MMA. Maybe it will take some of the spotlight off of Lesnar from those who still think he is a sideshow and not good for the sport. Lesnar doesn't have to be good for the sport necessarily. He just needed to prove he can fight, which he did and will continue to do so. Carwin might get his shot, just wait until then, aiight?

Frank Mir: "Honestly if it wasn't for the training I've been doing with my new coach I don't think I could have withstood that onslaught that he threw at me. There was a couple times he hit me and I saw flashes of white. I just knew to go into zombie mode."

Randy normally batters his opponents in this clinch. That's his favourite position.
However, at times it looked like Lesnar was taking a coffee break in Randy's dangerous clinch. And when Brock wanted out he physically powered his way out every time:

and then of course he knocked Randy out...

Not unbeatable. Just Carwin is not the one to do it. He got caught by Mir. He got fucked over in that fight. Should have won by ground and pound. He has worked sub defense even more since then. I do think Lesnar is beatable. Nog, Barnett, and Emelianenko, even maybe Arvloski. But not Carwin.
