I believe Sherk is innocent

Did any of you even watch him on all-access? The guy pops like 60 pills a day, eats only organic, and has the most insane workout regimine, etc.
These tests aren't perfect, plus, he takes so many legal substances-- any number of things could have thrown those results off.
I believe the guy. He's not a cheat...he's fought the best in the world, stays in shape like none other, and isn't the type who just suddenly trys to get a leg up now when hes at the top of his game and when he doesn't need it against a guy like Franca.

Sherk has a solid track record, and has shown to be a legit guy. Lets hear the appeal out and give him the benefit of the doubt before laying down the guilty verdict. He's earned it.

oh wahhhh bitch and cry about it, both his samples were tested positive. If you don't want Shroid screwing up on his cycles again then I suggest you mail him a pocket calendar or a palm pilot so he can keep a better track.

he tested positive against hughes a few years back, it's no surprise he got caught again. fighters try to do it in cycles as to not get caught, but the body is not always predictable.

IMO Dana probably regretted ever giving Sherk a title shot realizing the newer fans won't like his style. so he had his friends at the commission make sure to take care of his little problem.
in 6 months everyone will forget the whole steroid thing and the UFC will have a more marketable LW champ.

comparitively though, his sample wasn't THAT incriminating.

Gracie was busted for the same steroid but his test reading was over 50. Sherk's results were nearly 1/5 of that. he tested double of the standard level for a person who trains as hard as he did. its a test given by human being and human beings are fallible, ergo the tests could be wrong.

the tests for the Tour De France have come under a lot of scrutiny lately because they were giving inflated results as well. also, the man takes a truckload of supplements every day during his training. anyone who saw the Spike TV special on his training regimen knows this, and anyone who knows anything about body chemistry knows that an amount of supplements like that can inflate natural levels in the body.

i'm not saying that he's guilty or innocent(in fact i think he's kind of a boring fighter), but its not as open and shut as people in here are making it.
