Hughes will not be champ again

George Rush St Pierre is too explosive, too skilled, and too hard to take down for matt to be able to work anything on him. I love Matt he was the greatest welterweight champion but now the belt has passed and his era is over, GSP is just too much for him and represents the new generation of insanely athletic and well rounded fighters.

No kidding. Hughes was the champ, but he will never be again.

I think it will be a good rubber match. From what I have seen from Hughes lately he hasn't been fighting like he used to. Maybe he will comback like the old Matt Hughes and it will be one hell of a match.

if Hughes cheats like he did in their last fight, faking the groin shots (he admitted to faking it)

then I hope he gets KOd again. or better yet, TKO from mount, slice that face of his up.

I never heard that he said he was faking them do you have a link to a interview? (I like GSP so if he really did say this it would be cool)

The MMA chess analogy makes sense in that it is a very mental game, however saying MMA is like chess, so this guy who just lost is going to come back and win, thats not a correct analogy. Because chess players at the elite level do not make mistakes which would cause them to lose to someone they obliterated in the last match.
