Hughes Cardio???

Does anyone else think that Hughes cardio may cost him the title against GSP? I've never seen GSP worn out in a fight but Matt looked kind of tired against Sherk and we haven't seen him fight over 1 round since Oct 2004. Although GSP has not fought a full 4 or 5 round fight I still think he will be the fresher fighter in the later rounds. Will the cardio determine the outcome?

I think GSP's strikes and TD defense will cost Hughes the Belt. Maybe even a little GnP

He has nothing to worry about. As long as he has time for a county breakfast....... J/K
but seriously, he's got lungs. Just cause he held his breath through a couple of his past fights doesn't mean he CAN'T breath.

That may be the GNP that will do him in.

Not cardio, perhaps speed and striking would more be his downfall

I love it. I want Matt to win, but I want GSP to win too. Gonna be great no matter who wins. I can't see how any hate could come from this fight.

Hughes cardio should never even be brought up. He has enough stamina to go 10 rounds. Not only that but this fight he is preparing about 4-6 weeks longer for than any other fight he has had.

hughes cardio is one of the best. his fight with sherk is constant action, and hughes was hardly gassed after 5 rounds.

i would say it s more likely for gsp to gas than hughes.
