Huge pick up by UFC. Tyson Griffin to fight on UFC 63 card...

This guy is one of the dominant up and comers at 155. He is 7-0 and has fought serious competition. No one has past the first round with cat expect Urijah Faber who was TKO in round 3 and dominated Duane Ludwig at Strikeforce in 1st round TKO. Thoughts.

I'm soooo glad the UFC is trying to build up their LW division because there's some serious talent at 155 out there, like Tyson Griffin for example.

Yep. Excited to see him there.

He was long rumored to be a part of the PRIDE Bushido card, possibly against Gomi, but that fell through apparently. Definitely a great pick-up for the UFC's LW division. Like you said, he just beat Duane Ludwig and he handed Urijah Faber his lone loss.

incredible grab for the UFC LW division. once he proves his ground game a little more, he could challenge for the title...i jsut dont know hwo sherk matches up with him

I thought the UFC missed a star in the making with Pride getting Melendez but picking up Griffen could prove to be just as good. Can't wait to see him fight!

That LW division is getting crazy.....just give us a Pride style 3 event tourney already UFC...you've got the talent to do it now.

Yeah, I'm definitely glad that the UFC picked him up. I'd personally like to see him against Guillard. I just see that being an interesting fight.
