Doing the math, Huerta made right around $125,000 last year for his fights alone, not counting sponsorships, bonuses or anything.

I don't know what the hell he is complaining about. For his skill level, that is more than generous.

I bet that's more than Jardine made and he has fought much more top level competition that Huerta.

What's wrong with a guy wanting to make more money? If Kenny or Jardine weren't stuck in their shitty TUF contracts they would be doing the same. Just because he is standing up and refusing to get stuck doesn't make him big headed or cocky-it makes him business savvy.

There's a big difference in being business savvy and plain stupid. Don't forget Dana's a business savvy as they come yet Huerta comes to him and asks for more money than one of the top P4P fighters in the world whan he is a B level fighter at best? As greedy as Dana is he has established the greatest MMA business model to date. Now before everyone jumps in and flames away b/c they think fighters are not making enough money we have to remember that not too long ago there were concerns that the UFC was possibly cooking the books and probably were not worth as much as they were letting on. If this was true I'm sure that once the UFC really becomes a profitable enterprise more fighters will start to see more money, not just the elite fighters. To any business person this makes alot more sense than starting an org and throw as much money as possible to the fighters then fold within a year or two Even if affliction has the likes of Donald Trump and co. behind them it is possible that it will only be a matter of time before he pulls out if Affliction does not become as profitable as they expected.
