Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn
The announced fights are going to be huge! Kenny and Maynard is going to determine the next title contender. We will get a chance to see if Maynard is ready to take on the champion or if Kenny has improved enough to a solid claim for what would be his third run at the title. Randy Couture and James Toney has captured the imaginations of everyone ready to see what happens when ranked boxer steps inside the cage against a legend at the sport. Finally, will BJ set things right with his rematch with Frankie Edgar, or will Frankie show that he truly is the number 1 fighter in the world?
The rumored fights are going to be great if they happen. I'm particularly looking forward to Joe Lauzon vs Terry Etim. Both are underrated LWs. JL has nasty GnP, but Etim has great Muay Thai. Marquadrt vs Paul Harris is going to have serious title implications and Marcus Davis vs Nate Diaz could turn out to be a savage stand up war.
Best of all, its going to be the UFC's historic first event in Boston! The North East has been STARVING for MMA and this is Thanksgiving Dinner! I can't wait to attend this event live!
This is looking to be hands down one of the biggest events in MMA history!
