If you subscribe to HDNet, there are NEVER any additional costs per event. PPV is the way of the dinosaur.

Call your cable provider! You need an HD receiver for sure.

Ok, a few dumb questions from someone that lives under a rock.

1. What would be a better way to go, Verizon Vios, or DirectTV? (I curently have Comcast for tv and internet but not phone, I use Verizon for my cell phone).

2. If I switch from Comcast to one of the above, do I still get Spike and Versus channels?

3. Are there any other channels that I will loose in the transition?

4. Cost comparisons between the above (Comcast, Verizon Vios, DirectTV)?

Do you mean that UFC events are aired on HDNet at no cost?
